Mater Prize Home lottery No. 278 winner, Jennifer Ninyette, was at work when she received an exciting phone call. She got some unexpected news that she had won a luxury, waterfront prize home in Hope Island on the Gold Coast.

Despite being a long-term Mater Prize Home VIP supporter since the year 2007, winning the modern five bedroom home worth a whopping $1.8 million still came as a shock.

“When I first received the call I thought, is this a joke? I feel like I’m being pranked? Is this serious,” said Jennifer.

“I get the brochures (each month), and I normally look at them and go, oh that would be nice…I don’t even remember seeing this one, which is funny”.
