The first thing that caught our eyes was the huge pool. As large as a resort pool, it’s ready to cool down and freshen up the whole family on those long summer days. On every other day, it creates a peaceful atmosphere as it lies still under a high or setting sun, and then under the stars at night.

2. The Outdoor Living and Dining Pavilions

Entertaining friends and family outdoors is something we all enjoy doing at Mater. That’s why the two outdoor pavilions are so enchanting for us. Perfect for breezy lunches and elegant dinners, these outdoor living spaces are spacious and in a stunning setting – surrounded by the house’s beautiful exterior and Bribie Island’s incredible creek views.

Go for a swim on a hot Sunday, then come up for cold watermelon and a BBQ for lunch.

3. The Spacious, yet Cosy, Home theatre

Made to fit family and friends comfortably, the home theatre on the ground floor is the room we always wished for. The lounges stretch across the room with individual seats and plenty of cup holders. This personal theatre in this draw’s prize home is a prize in itself.

In this open design, air flows seamlessly through the master bedroom. That means you can wake up in a relaxed headspace, ready to start the day – even on Monday. With its large ensuite and walk-in wardrobe, this room quickly became one of our favourites.
