Twice as lucky

On Friday 10 July, our lucky winner Frank* from Tennant Creek, Northern Territory was working on his farm when he received the amazing phone call that changed his life.

Frank bought three tickets in the Mater Cars for Cancer lottery No.93. He took a chance and hoped to win a 2020 5.0L V8 Mustang, PLUS a Ford Raptor, PLUS $40,000 in gold bullion.  One of those tickets was the lucky one!

Frank was overjoyed with his win.

“This win has definitely changed a lot of things for me, I’m debt free now, have two new cars and I’m looking to book a holiday.”

Frank told us that he was looking to take out a loan to buy a new 4 Wheel Drive, this win saved him from going into debt. It was just meant to be!

Since winning, Frank has been able to build a car port, take a holiday to Adelaide AND help out his daughter by relieving some financial stress.

Frank said that he will definitely continue to support the Mater Foundation in whatever way he can.
