Charis Seafoods has cemented itself as a Gold Coast institution with locals and tourists. Since opening in 1993, this family owned and operated business has become the biggest seafood retailer in Queensland. For the best quality and variety of delicious fresh and cooked seafood on the Goldie, Charis delivers. Enjoy fish and chips by the Broadwater while experiencing the spectacle of the pelican feeding that occurs daily at 1:30pm. Their seafood platters are also perfect for entertaining at home, especially if it’s from the alfresco area of our prize home.

As we all know, fresh is best, and you can’t get fresher ocean-caught seafood than straight off the trawler! Popular with the locals, make sure you head in early to secure their daily catch. You will find the trawler berthed in the Marine Village at Sanctuary Cove, Friday through to Sunday, stocked up with green and cooked prawns, bugs and crabs sold by the kilo. Looking to make a day of it at Sanctuary Cove? Why not grab some cooked prawns from the trawler before heading to the nearby IGA to pick up some supplies for a lovely family picnic lunch?
